One week ago today @wickedpixels came into existence. In honor of the occasion we’ve put together our nominees for the Worst Wizards Moment of the Past 10 Days. It was incredibly hard to narrow it down to just 10. We had to leave out classics like JaVale McGee’s All Star Twitter campaign and Hamady Ndiaye’s horrible accommodations just to name two. So scan the 10 posts below and make your pick for the Worst Wizard Moment of the Past 10 Days.

Despite all of the stories below, not a single person is out of a job. Flip is the coach. Ernie is the GM. Andray and Rashard are still on the roster. Apparently Flip’s job isn’t even in jeopardy. Worst of all, everything’s going according to plan.

Dan Steinberg uncovered some awesome stories of ticket purchases for Tuesday’s Wizards-Raptors game, including Kevin Walsh of Frederick getting his for 30 cents a piece. And yet, @adammcginnis took the pic above just 15 minutes before tip. Imagine how empty it would have been if tix were $2.

"Wizards’ forward Rashard Lewis got into an argument with Wizards’ assistant coach Sam Cassell before the Minnesota game and Lewis decided he didn’t want to play."

So, Ernie used the 6th pick in the draft on Jan Vesely. For months all we knew about him is that he could make out with tall chicks and dunk on Euros. Then he finally made his NBA debut this week against Minnesota and this happened.

JaVale McGee tweeted this. Not really sure where to go with it, but here it is on the list.

Blatche goaltending a free throw might not be the worst clip of the Magic game. Thanks to CSNWashington.com you can watch the Wizards miss their first 12 shots of the night. Some of them we’re even taken outside the lane!

The Wizards set another record on Wednesday night. With MVP Derrick Rose out for the Bulls, Washington still managed to score the fewest points in franchise history in the 78-64 loss to Chicago. That image above (HT: TruthAboutIt.net) is the 4th quarter shot chart. Yes, all of those Xs in the lane to the left are MISSES. That’s 0-7 on shots taken IN THE LANE!
